Life’s A Beach
John and I returned a few days ago from visiting Joey and Momo in Pensacola, FL. We drove down (13 hours!) on the 22nd and returned on the 27th. What fun we had!
Pensacola, as you’ll recall, was devastated by Hurricane Ivan; the gorgeous white beaches were in horrific shape immediately following the storm. We hit Pensacola Beach twice during our stay and could see the scars of the hurricane; however, the seashore is recovering nicely, the sand is beautiful and the ocean is as gorgeous as you’ll see anywhere on the U.S. coastlines.
John has always loved the water and had a blast in the ocean.
